With the release of the Undead Nightmare Pack only days away, Rockstar is sharing more of their favorite weird Westerns in the Rockstar Recommends Series. Today features a curious double-feature where legendary outlaws meet their match in classic movie monsters.

Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter (1966, Dir. William Beaudine)
Billy the Kid vs. Dracula (1966, Dir. William Beaudine)

While the 60's camp-fests that are "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter" and "Billy the Kid vs. Dracula" (the latter starring horror and western genre legend, John Carradine) could hardly be called cinematic masterpieces, they are perhaps two of the most literal and most outrageous western-horror hybrids you will find. Made for the sheer purpose of appealing to teens of the day and filling drive-ins, the two were released as an attention getting fun twin-bill with sensational posters ("The West's Deadliest Gun-Fighter! The World's Most Diabolical Killer!") and truly outlandish plots.

Great relics from a bygone era of exploitation drive-in cinema, we can thank the laws of public domain that at least one of them - "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter" - is available to watch in full for free at archive.org. Enjoy and have a great weekend y'all!
