Still being Seth

Once again Seth is digging up graves. This time he's outside the Tumbleweed church. When John approaches, Seth shies away and says goodbye right after a hello. John manages to keep Seth from running off to where that thing he's looking for is kept. Seth admits the thought of treasure does things to his head. As if we didn't know...

Moving on up

Once in control, start walking into the abandoned town as Seth tells you the treasure is in the mansion. When you approach the buildings, three treasure hunters will appear and start shooting. Seth will exclaim that they followed him as John says they look just like him. Kill the three and three more will appear a little farther into the town. Kill them too and continue towards the mansion.


Next there will be one enemy near the road on your side and three more running around across the road. They'll hide among the various rocks and things. Take them all out and head towards the mansion where there will be two more enemies. One is behind the final wall and the other is perched in a second floor window. Kill them.

Back door

When you get to the marker on the porch a cinematic will show John attempting to shoulder the door open but it won't budge. John will then say to check the back. Head around to the left side of the mansion and find the stairs to the basement.

Make your way down the stairs and a green blip will appear above you showing where the treasure is. Enter the basement and go to the right. Two enemies will come down the stairs. Kill them. Head up the stairs and into the first room on the right with a big hole in the wall. Clear out the three enemies in the main room and jump the wall.

Sprint up the stairs and an enemy will run out from a right-hand room across the way while another will appear inside the room on the left. Kill them and head into the left room. The last enemy will be standing right over the treasure chest all the way in the back. Kill him and move in with Seth behind you.

A cutscene will show a very excited Seth yelling his happiness as he embraces the chest. He'll break off the lock and open it up, only to lose his smile when he finds a glass eye inside. That's it. As Seth gets hysterical about the time he's wasted, John will tell him to pull it together and help him with Williamson. Seth says he's ready for the living and agrees to help when John is ready.

Gold Tips

• Sprint towards the mansion, taking out all the enemies along your way.
• All enemies are behind cover (or run to it) making headshots easy.
• You should only need Dead-Eye for the ones running.
• Do not go to the front porch. Head right around to the basement.
• Sprint through the basement taking out the two enemies.
• Go right around the small room with the hole and take out the enemies in the main room.
• Sprint up the stairs and to the treasure while killing the last few enemies.
