An Honest Mistake

Uncle knows of some money on a wagon that passes nearby. It would be a quick and easy score if not for the small army of guards following it.

Uncle West

Molly is worried about Dutch. She really loves him. Before continuing Uncle interrupts. He has a lead but Arthur is hesitant to any Uncle has. Uncle recruits Bill and Charles. They are going after a supply wagon with payroll on board. It'll be unguarded for a short time nearby before joining other wagons in a train. As long as Uncle helps then Arthur is in.

Follow Uncle. Near the area outside of Rhodes Uncle stops. Equip your bandana. Eventually the wagon appears so ride off with the others. Bill gets them to stop. The men on the wagon say they work for Leviticus Cornwall. Great. Arthur and Charles will search the wagon. Dismount and look at the chest in the back while Charles gets on top. Arthur finds money inside. Bill spots the rest of the wagons coming at them with backup. Time to go.

Cornwall wasps

Back on your horse, escape the pursuers. There are eight on horseback giving chase with more behind them. Riding around attempting to lose them, the gang cuts off a wagon which takes out a few of them. The others continue to chase including one that gets up next to the gang. Take him out. The others fall behind and the gang cuts through some trees and across a field. They need to lie low before returning to camp.

The gang finds an old ranch with a small rundown barn. The decision is made to hide in the barn. They dismount and the horses are sent away. They'll wait it out here. A short time later when it's dark enough the gang awakes. As they prepare to leave they notice men with lanterns near the ranch house. They question the man inside who says he might have heard something by the barn.

Barn burner

Two of the men - Cooperforth and Lowe - come down to search it. One enters but all seems quiet. As he turns to leave Bill accidentally makes noise and the fight is on. The first two get taken down. Charles barricades the doorway. Three more attackers come from the house. Take them out as more come from the right through the trees so move around. A few are on horseback and the others on foot. Kill most of them and attackers will appear from the opposite side.


When most of those are down, two more attackers come from around the house. On top of that a fire has started in the barn. Kill them and additional waves of attackers appear from both sides. One or two will stay back near the trees on the right. Take out most of them and the fire spreads. Bill breaks down the back of the barn to escape. Go through the hole.

The men flee into the woods as shots continue to fly by. Take out any attackers on your tail and follow Uncle. Inside the woods they decide to split up. Arthur gets stuck with Uncle. Take cover with him behind some rocks. Two attackers come walking up. Take down one and Uncle will get the other. Uncle fails and gets thrown down himself. Help him.

Shots are heard from Bill and Charles so go help them. Four attackers are on foot and two more ride up on horseback from the right. Kill them all and the gang regroups. Everyone is alive. Unfortunately they have Cornwall on their backs again. Arthur tells the others to split up. They all run off.

Gold Tips

• There is no time objective so take it easy and aim for headshots.
• During the first chase you can take aim at the pursuers and your horse will automatically follow the gang. Use these enemies to build up your headshot and accuracy counts. You'll need to be quick since there are many of them and you are exposed.
• Use quick Dead Eye bursts to conserve it. Aim for headshots.
• If you want to increase your accuracy count aim for non-lethal parts such as arms or torso.
• You are trapped inside the barn so use the short walls as cover while firing out to the attackers. They have plenty of cover to use as well.
• When hiding with Uncle in the woods, you need to let him go after the attacker and get pinned down. Headshot yours and then headshot Uncle's when he's on the ground.
• There are around 40 enemies including the original pursuers. Your gang will take out a few but you should be able to make 20 headshots.
