iRedDead.com is an independent publication dedicated to news, information, analysis and coverage of Red Dead Revolver, Red Dead Redemption and Rockstar Games.

Our aim is to provide accurate, useful and clearly sourced information for the Red Dead community. We distinguish between confirmed information, reporting from third-party sources, rumours and our own analysis or speculation.

Accuracy and sourcing

We aim to verify information before publication and, wherever possible, refer to primary sources such as Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, official platform holders, regulatory filings, public records and direct statements.

When reporting information originally published by another news organisation, journalist or community member, we aim to clearly identify and credit the original source.

Information that we have not independently verified is presented as such and should not be described as confirmed fact.

Rumours and speculation

Rumours, reports and speculation are an important part of covering an unreleased game, but they are not the same as confirmed information.

Where an article discusses an unconfirmed report, rumour, interpretation or theory, we aim to make its status clear to readers and identify where the information originated.

Headlines and descriptions should accurately represent the information contained within an article and should not present speculation as fact.

Leaks

iRedDead may report on the existence, context or significance of leaked material when it is considered newsworthy.

We do not intentionally publish or redistribute confidential game files, unlawfully obtained materials or leaked media where doing so would unnecessarily reproduce the material itself.

Where appropriate, our coverage may describe or discuss leaked information without hosting the original content.

Original reporting and research

Some iRedDead articles are based on our own research, including the discovery and analysis of public websites, databases, documents, filings, digital storefronts and other publicly accessible information.

When iRedDead independently discovers information, we aim to explain the source and methodology where doing so is practical and does not compromise a source or legitimate security concern.

Updates

Articles may be updated when additional information becomes available.

When an article receives a meaningful update after publication, its updated date may be displayed alongside its original publication date. We do not change publication dates solely to make older articles appear more recent.

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or stylistic changes may be made without an update notice.

Corrections

We aim to correct factual errors promptly and transparently.

Significant corrections may be acknowledged within the article so readers can understand what was changed. Minor typographical, grammatical or formatting corrections may be made without a correction notice.

Opinions and analysis

Articles containing substantial opinion, interpretation or speculation should make that context clear.

The views expressed by individual writers do not necessarily represent those of every iRedDead contributor.

Artificial intelligence

AI tools may be used to assist with tasks such as research, transcription, translation, data analysis or editing. They are not treated as authoritative sources of information.

Published editorial content remains subject to human review, and responsibility for the accuracy and presentation of an article remains with its credited author and iRedDead.

Advertising and sponsored content

Advertising helps support the operation of iRedDead but does not determine our editorial coverage.

Paid or sponsored editorial content will be clearly identified where applicable. We do not intentionally present paid promotional material as independent editorial reporting.

Affiliate links may occasionally be used where relevant. If a purchase made through a link can result in iRedDead receiving a commission, this does not affect the price paid by the reader.

Independence

iRedDead.com is independently owned and operated and is not owned, operated or controlled by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or any of their subsidiaries.

iRedDead is recognised by Rockstar Games as a Red Dead community website and may occasionally receive press materials, news, announcements or other communications directly from Rockstar Games. Receiving information or materials directly from Rockstar does not give Rockstar editorial control over iRedDead or determine how we cover the company or its games.

Where appropriate, we may identify Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive as the direct source of information contained within our reporting.

Red Dead, Rockstar Games and related names, trademarks and materials belong to their respective owners.
