RDR2 App

"Look out for the Red Dead Redemption 2 Official Companion App, which will be available for both iOS and Android when the game launches this Friday Oct 26 and will connect directly with your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One as you play. We will have more details on the Companion App later today."

Launch Title Update

"As is common for a game of this size and scope, there will be a downloadable title update addressing a number of last minute tweaks, bugs and fixes. To ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we strongly recommend making sure you’ve downloaded this update before launching the game.

For players who have pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 via the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store, the game is now available to download and pre-install on both platforms, allowing you to jump in as soon as the game is released this Friday."

Rockstar Support Website

" We have recently relaunched the Rockstar Games Support website to make it easier than ever to find the help you need when experiencing any sort of issue. The new Rockstar Support site is also optimized for mobile devices so you can quickly get help right from your smartphone.

As with any game launching of this size, we expect that there will be unforeseen bugs and issues to report and we encourage you to please let us know about anything along those lines that you encounter in Red Dead Redemption 2. You can search the Red Dead Redemption 2 knowledge base to see if what you’re experiencing is a known issue or if an article exists addressing it, request support by submitting a ticket, or file a bug report.
There are already some helpful Red Dead Redemption 2 articles to check out at the Support website including about the game’s installation requirements, pre-order bonuses and more."

RDR2 App

"We know that many players around the world are planning on jumping right on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Mixer and other platforms to stream and upload their game experience for friends and fans. We also know that games frequently ‘fall off the truck’ and wind up in players’ hands early, so we’d like you to know when it is okay to be able to broadcast or upload game content. Red Dead Redemption 2’s official release date is this Friday, October 26 and the worldwide embargo date and time for safely streaming or posting video content is timed with the game’s first ‘midnight launch’ release in Australia / New Zealand which translates to:

  • Australia / New Zealand: 12:01am Friday October 26
  • Eastern Time: 7:01am Thursday October 25
  • Pacific Time: 4:01am Thursday October 25
  • British Time: 12:01pm Thursday October 25

Red Dead Online Beta

"Get ready for the launch of the Red Dead Online beta coming in November. As we announced previously, Red Dead Online is a new online connected experience set against the backdrop of Red Dead Redemption 2’s enormous open world. As with most online experiences of this size and scale, there will inevitably be some turbulence at launch and we look forward to working with our amazing and dedicated community to share ideas, help us fix teething problems and work with us to develop Red Dead Online into something really fun and innovative.

Access to Red Dead Online is free to anyone with a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Using the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 as a foundation, Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also feature constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players. Stay tuned for more details about Red Dead Online in the weeks ahead."
