On the desk in Arthur's room is a letter. Inspect it.

It's from Mary Linton again. She thanks Arthur for saving Jamie and says he's considering college, although he's still arguing with their father. She goes on to say that she needs Arthur's help again. She is staying at the Grand Hotel in St. Denis. Mary is begging him.

Put the Letter from Mary away. Part I is complete and a new marker appears for Part II.
