Red Dead Redemption: Undead NightmareUndead Nightmare - Collectable Guide

Kit Items

Published by Psy

There are 24 special "Kit Items" you can acquire in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, including maps, ammo and other useful goodies.

Kit items are typically special items you'll acquire in game which provide benefits or allow you to craft ammunition. Once acquired, they're permanent and can be viewed and used from the Kit section of the satchel.

Table of Contents

Special Kit Items

The special items usually provide unique features when used or viewed.

Bandolier

Doubles ammo capacity on rifles and repeaters.

How to Acquire: Automatically owned at the start of the game.

Holy Relic

A small cross that refills items and ammunition once a day.

How to Acquire: Unlocked alongside the Undead Hunter outfit which is awarded for completing a number of side-missions and tasks including beating Rank 5 of the Undead Hunter challenge.

Missing Person

Shows the location and details of the current missing person.

How to Acquire: This will be added to your inventory when you start a Missing Person side task. It will be removed when you deliver the missing person. Once all missing persons have been rescued, it will no longer be possible to acquire this item. Using it will display the poster you pulled from the wall.

Treasure Map

Shows you the location of hidden treasure.

How to Acquire: There are a few ways to acquire it initially. See details for the Undead Treasure Hunter challenge. Once acquired, using it will allow you to see one of 5 treasure maps. Each treasure collected will unlock a new map. Once all treasure has been collected, it can still be possible to re-acquire a treasure map - possibly via a glitch - which will then cause the map to be permanently stuck in the inventory as the treasures do not respawn.

Ammo

In Undead Nightmare, ammo is stored in the Kit rather than in Consumables like in the main RDR game.

Ammo: Blunderbuss

Shot, powder, and primer for your blunderbuss.

How to Acquire: Initially you're given 5 rounds by Nigel West Dickens at the end of "A Cure for Most of What Ails You".
