100% In Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
For 100% completion in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, you must complete pretty much everything the game has to offer. There are 59 essential objectives that contribute to your completion percentage. Different tasks award different amounts of percentage to your total.
Rewards For 100% Completion
After earning 100% completion, the player will be awarded with the following;
- Unlimited item and ammo creation (build ammunitions only, not all types) - essentially providing infinite ammo.
- The Trophy / Achievement "Zed's Dead, Baby" is unlocked.
Not Required For 100%
You aren't obligated to do "everything" in the game for 100% completion. There are several side missions and tasks which are optional.
You do not need to do any of the following for 100% completion:
- Acquire any outfits other the one listed below.
- Complete the Tomahawk challenges.
- Complete the Explosive Rifle challenges.
- Have all 20 towns rescued at the same time (although there is a Trophy / Achievement called "Spinning Plates" for this).

There are 8 required Story Missions worth 23% in total.

Complete Survivor Side-Missions
You must complete 6 survivor missions, worth 12% in total. "Missing Souls" may award a bonus 1% due to rescuing a missing person, however this is a bug and isn't required towards 100% completion.
Survivors
Save Towns
You must save all 20 towns from zombies, worth 20%. It's possible for them to be attacked and taken over again, but you must clear out each of them at least once.

Cleanse Cemeteries
You must cleanse 5 cemeteries worth 10% in total.

Rescue 15 Missing Persons
You must rescue all 15 missing persons worth 15% in total. An additional person, Millicent Waterbury, is rescued through the 'Missing Souls' side mission and may award an additional 1% completion bonus which isn't needed.

There is only one outfit required towards 100% completion, awarding 4% when unlocked.

Complete 4 lists, each containing 5 ambient challenges worth 16% in total. Each objective must be completed in order.
