Brimstone 1

At various points of the story, Red will end up in Brimstone. This works as a sort of interlude between missions and you're free to explore the town, speak to the citizens and visit a number of shops to purchase items - including weapons and useful upgrades - with your hard earned cash.

Each time you visit Brimstone, the shop inventory will slightly differ, so if you want to buy everything in the game, you'll need to purchase everything they have each time you visit. You'll struggle on your first playthrough as you probably won't have enough money though, but be aware that many of the most expensive items can be unlocked for free by completing in-game challenges.

Before, during or after most levels you'll be able to purchase items from the shop which unlocks showdown characters and levels and journal entries. Find out about everything there is to buy here.

Chapter 5 - Brimstone

Cutscene

Red helps Sheriff O'Grady through the train station into Brimstone where he's met by Sheriff Bartlett who asks "You the bounty hunter? Sheriff Bartlett. I got your telegram. Mighty grateful to you" before helping Sheriff O'Grady. "I may have some work for you. Stop by my office later" says Sheriff Bartlett Red before he leaves.

You're now completely free to explore the town. There are 5 shops available to purchase items. Don't enter the Sheriff's office until you're finished shopping!

The Bank

Located on the main street, next to the kid selling newspapers.

General Store

Located on the main street, directly opposite the bank and the newspaper kid.

The Tailor

Located at the top corner of the main street, facing the Sheriff's office and the Saloon.

The Gun Shop

Located opposite the Saloon, next to the Tailor.

The Saloon

Located opposite the Tailor / Gun Shop, next to the Sheriff's office.

Once you're done shopping, enter the Sheriff's office to view a cutscene which will lead into the next mission.

Cutscene

Red speaks with Sheriff Bartlett who says to him "If you're as good a bounty hunter as O'Grady says you are, you could help me with a couple of real outlaws wreaking havoc in my territory. It'd be worth a pretty penny to you."

Bartlett then points at a wall of most wanted individuals, telling Red "You might want to start with Pig Josh, he's one crazy outlaw and circus freak. Just be careful, he's got a hankering for dynamite. Oh, you might wanna keep your eyes out for some English fella, he don't know what a motley crew he's keeping company with".
