STOP.
Abigail has a telegram for John that turns out to be from Bonnie MacFarlane.
Unfortunately Abigail can't read and worries the telegram is of the romantic nature.
John sits down to read the letter aloud.
Bonnie says she needs corn sacks immediately since the county supply was eaten by pests. John asks Abigail how romantic that was as she finally accepts that Bonnie is a good person for saving John. She tells him to help Bonnie since corn sacks are the only thing that weren't stolen from their ranch during John's escapade. Abigail is noticeably curious to know more about Bonnie.
Hey, jealousy
With the wagon loaded up, get into the driver seat.
A quick cutscene shows Abigail running out of the house to join you.
Once she's on the wagon with you, start heading towards the General Store at MacFarlane's Ranch. A timer will give you four minutes to get there.
Abigail continues her questions about Bonnie.
John explains a little about how they met at Fort Mercer and the discussion turns to Bill Williamson and the old gang plus Abigail's side while John was away.
You'll take the main road via Thieves' Landing.
Eventually you'll reach the General Store.
Bonnie is glad to see John who introduces the women to each other.
The two make friends pretty quick and gang up on John a little during discussions about ranching and life.
John tries not to get involved as he works with a ranch hand to remove the corn.
With the corn sacks unloaded it's time for the Marstons to return home. Bonnie watches them leave - showing a kind of sadness that makes you wonder about her feelings towards John.
She kicks the dirt and looks at the ground and seems jealous of Abigail.
Head home to Beecher's Hope.
Now that she's met Bonnie, Abigail speaks highly of her while also teasing John a little. Abigail had also noticed Bonnie blush when John arrived but he has that effect on women. Abigail comments on their ranch to which John replies that Beecher's Hope will be like that someday. She's skeptical given both of their pasts but John tells her the past is over.
Abigail doesn't think the government men will actually leave them alone. John says he did what they wanted. The discussion goes back to Jack again who has been brought up in a far-from-perfect life. John thinks he'll be alright.
In the final cutscene Abigail gets off the wagon, assisted by John, and heads off to start making dinner.
She says they did good today. John waves as she runs off into the house.
